Our premier insurance client in Chevy Chase, MD is seeking a senior level Java developer to work on projects aimed at improving relationships and retention with our existing customers by creating a more dynamic and gratifying internet experience.? The Java developer must be a team player, who can contribute innovative ideas, yet work independently and who possesses excellent verbal and written, critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills.? The Java developer needs to have the ability to design, develop and implement high-quality code in a timely manner is essential.
Required qualifications of the Java developer include:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or related field is preferred Minimum of 3-5 years experience with Java, and JavaScript, CSS, HTML A minimum of three years of development experience in large scale J2EE environments Understanding of and experience with relational database concepts and SQL required Highly desired skills include:
