Job Title:  Business Analyst

Location: San Ramon, CA 94582 – Local Consultants Only

Duration: 11 Months

Hourly Rate: $48/hr On C2C

Description:

Candidate will be responsible for Business Analyst activities specific to IT and Business Support requirements for a software implementation project. Analyst will report to the IT Project Manager. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills as well as 3-5 yrs experience working within IT Project teams, business experience and a related degree. The objective of the project is to integrate and deploy a new application into the HR Compensation & Payroll Business process. Key Job Responsibilities: Support Plan • Develop IT and Business support TO-BE system/IT/Business process based on integrated software solutions in an effective and efficient manner. • Work to gather business IT specifications: understand system users' needs and translate those into future state processes • Researches and analyzes questions and issues to ensure a comprehensive design is made • Validate accuracy and completeness of the process documentation with Stakeholders; and obtain consensus and acceptance from the team. • Liaise with the BCM lead, and Project Management to optimize the stakeholder engagement. • Help to identify change impacts, training needs to various support units resulting from the implementation of project. • Document future to-be support plan for multiple software applications in readiness for go live, including integration with multiple sFTP servers. • Maintain Integration and Architecture documentation as needed • Point of contact for integration leads from third party solution providers • Provide the necessary documentation for support, support training delivery and appropriate procedure updates. • Insures a smooth hand-off of future state to Business and IT resources in the target organizations Testing Coordination and Support Error Checking • Understand interface data flow and requirements. Responsible for testing conditions specific to error processes and error use cases and use case scenarios. • Understands logical data flows within the system and business processes, and ensures that the error and related support processes are understood, documented and incorporated into support plans • Plans & coordinates the overall project environment needs including testing, and cutover. Working with internal and third party environment managers. IT Standards and Compliance • Ensures compliance with Client standards and policies • Supports projects remediation of all risk areas identified by the Architecture Review , Risk Assessment and IP compliance reviews. • Communicates IP Compliance and other requirements to the team (including changes and updates during the project lifecycle) • Works in partnership with identified IRM coordinator to plan IP compliance reviews and remediate identified risks. Meeting Management: • As needed facilitate discussions, listen for understanding, bring to closure, publish post meeting notes and actions to attendees. • As needed prepare meeting logistics and ensure that SharePoint or other collaborative tools have the pre-read available and are set up prior to meeting REQUIREMENTS • Experienced Business Analyst • Strong communication skills (written and oral) • Skilled in facilitation, problem solving and conflict resolution • Experience documenting business process flows as well as support processes • Experienced developing and maintaining project documentation,. • Ability to work independently and within a diverse and complex project team • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi- task • Familiar with project management methodologies, experience with client for IT is a plus • Proficient in MS Office , MS Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint; MS project familiarity a plus • Ability to explain technical concepts to business team members and to explain business concepts to technical team members.
