Individual will be part of a talented team of developers responsible for the design, and implementation of solutions within the SharePoint Platform. Developer will also implement .Net solutions. Position requires innovative thinking and a willingness to work in a dynamic team environment. Candidate will be expected to work on technical efforts that involve mixed contractor and customer teams. Candidate will develop cutting-edge software applications using state-of-the-art development tools. Responsibilities include applying software engineering principles in the analysis, design, prototyping, software development, and testing of software products. Candidate will be responsible for producing software solutions using .Net and some XML.
Responsibilities
•Understands, develops, implements, and maintains web application frameworks utilizing:
◦Best practices in development methodologies
◦Widget development and implementation in web site publishing frameworks
•Ensures project management and defined software development standards and procedures are followed
•Satisfies requirements, meets agreed to completion date(s), and performs unit and integration tests for products developed.
•Works with team members and the system architect
•Develops solutions for SharePoint 2013/2010
•SharePoint Web Part development
•Works with a graphics designer to adapt a consistent look and feel
•Authors XSL style sheets allowing flexible rendering of content across the site
•Works with the System architect and other team members on application and content architecture
•Responsible for providing support to end users in maintaining content on their various web pages
•Communicates effectively with end users, team lead and team members
•Responsible for estimating work content and achieving planned timelines
•Responsible for following project management / lifecycle development processes, procedures, and database standards to achieve quality assurance.
•Responsible for creating test standards and documents, and reviewing team member's work for quality assurance purposes
Minimum Education/Experience
•
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience plus at least five years of professional experience
Required Skills/Abilities
•Demonstrated expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML/XSL, ASP.NET 2.0, C#, TSQL and PL/SQL and object oriented concepts
•Good team working skills and meticulous attention to detail
•Experience with SharePoint 2013/2010 development
•5+ years of experience working on web based development projects involving Microsoft technologies.
