The position of JBoss Administrator is responsible to support all applications using a JBoss environment. He/she is responsible to build, maintain, support, monitor, and troubleshoot Apache and JBoss servers being used by agency applications, as well as to perform deployments in pseudo, training and production environments for the Website and potentially other projects.
Skills Needed:
84 months experience performing enterprise level application server platform installation and configuration.
60 months experience performing Apache Web server installation and configuration (Apache Virtual Hosting & Shared Hosting Experience
48 months experience performing JBoss clustering, load balancing, DNS based load balancing, 3rd party load balancers
48 months experience performing JBoss and Apache troubleshooting and log analysis
48 months experience with JBoss Web Server and Application server performance tuning
48 months experience with installing and configuring JBoss Operations Network (JON) at the enterprise level
48 months knowledge on Shell scripting
48 months obtaining knowledge of Linux system administration as it pertains to managing JBoss enterprise platform
36 months experience obtaining a basic knowledge of J2EE application development for troubleshooting deployment and operation issues
48 months level of understanding on networking & OS concepts (DNS, Messaging, Network protocols, SSL etc.,)
48 months preparing documentation supporting the above work activities.
