Position: Sr. Developer : Elements development and support
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 6 months
Position Description: Looking for a senior Developer with a very sound knowledge of network and device management protocols. 6-8 years solid work experience in embedded software/firmware development using C/C++. This team is responsible for development of eRouter SNMP management interface. We're looking for an engineer with Good Linux development and debugging skills. He/She should have expertise in device management protocols like SNMP, TR069. He/She should have good understanding of wifi access points, network protocols, IPv4 and IPv6. Good verbal and oral communication skill.
Core Responsibilities:
Actively participates in requirements reviews, architectural discussions, code reviews and debugging exercises
Works with other members of cross-functional teams, joint ventures, third party vendors to deliver quality products, in a timely fashion, that meet defined requirements. Establishes and maintains working relationships within Product Engineering teams.
Solves complex problems. Takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions exercising independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Knowledge of network and device management protocols.
Good Linux development and debugging skills
EXPERIENCE:
Must have 6-8 years solid work experience in embedded software/firmware development using C/C++.
Must have expertise in device management protocols like SNMP, TR069.
Must have good understanding of wifi access points, network protocols, IPv4 and IPv6.
Good verbal and oral communication skill.
Experience on Home Gateways and CPEs preferred.
