Redesigning the Support Site to improve usability and self service capabilities. As part of that effort, we are seeking developer with experience in implementing and enhancing enterprise search systems. Developer must have experience implementing search
solutions including basic and advanced search capabilities, and context sensitive search solutions. Developers must have experience with all phases of development including user story analysis and decompostion, grooming, development and QA working with an agile methodology.
Developer must be able to effectively convert user written requirements into technical designs consistent with the existing platform standards
Job Requirements: Required:
- At least 5- 8 years of experience developing enterprise search solutions with Google Search Appliance experience strongly preferred
- At least 5 years of experience developing data-driven, user-facing web applications
- Strong object oriented and Java development skills
- Development experience with at least a few of the other most common web application languages (Javascript, PHP, Python, Perl, C#).
- Familiarity with modern web application standards and frameworks (CSS, AJAX, jQuery)
- Experience executing projects using Agile development methodology
Skills that are "Nice to Haves":
- Experience with Oracle WebCenter platform
- Experience with Oracle ADF framework
- Experience with Oracle Content Management system
- Familiarity with SOA and REST services
- Familiarity with web-based security standards (e.g., cookie-based SSO, SAML)
- Familiarity with XSLT
