Position: C# SDEs
Location: Redmond WA

The Natural Language Technologies (NLT) team, part of Microsoft Office International, is looking for a talented developer to work on enhancing capabilities in a mature set of tools for building and evaluating natural language features. The toolkit functionalities include text processing, machine learning, crowdsourcing, and rule-writing. The toolkit supports creating and testing spellers, grammar checkers, statistical language models, e-mail prioritization, named entity recognition, and much more, in a large number of languages and markets.
This position offers a great opportunity to work with a talented engineering team at the forefront of developing natural language technology for Microsoft products.
Responsibilities include investigating and analyzing bug reports, and designing, implementing, and testing feature requests and bug fixes, under the direction of the Microsoft manager. Must work on site in Redmond.
Required qualifications:
B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
2+ years of industry coding experience with C#
Experience working with legacy code
Experience working with Windows Forms
Excellent teamwork, communication, and coordination skills
