Urgent requirement for Business Analyst
Work assignments encompass Strategic Planning, Component Management and Project work.
Coordination responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
o Strategic Planning
o Assisting the Manager with resource planning (determining how to best utilize the unit resources to benefit our service and business areas.
o Liaison/ambassador working with other components, functions, etc. to spread understanding of who we are and what we can do for them.
o Set direction in Component research assignments.
o Partnering with the areas we support to stay current on project and service work, workload issues, pain points, etc. and share information as appropriate.
o Exploring new ideas and where appropriate, leading or assisting with driving needed organizational changes
o Component Management o Acting as an escalation point for the unit.
o Facilitating the Component Management process (assisting with setting, monitoring and updating of Component milestones.)
o Assisting the Manager with PARs (assigning unit analysts to the appropriate work, coordinating work with other units if our analysts have available capacity, provide opportunities for analysts to use skillset +2 when possible.)
o Assisting with budget items (track service and project hours via Primavera reports, ensure appropriate use of planned hours, etc.)
o Assisting the Manager with component development or leadership tasks o Project Work o Acting as an escalation point for the unit.
o Leading unit in support of new validation requirements for selected Systems partners
o Effectively communicate with unit team leads and analysts to gain an understanding of the project scope/issues and needs in order to assist with issue resolution.
o Assist the unit with work prioritization,
o Promote a learning environment by providing opportunities for overviews, mentoring, etc.
o Mentor analysts on current process, drive process improvements,
