Job Description:

Administers and supports Windows servers, VMware Virtual server farm.

Installs, configures, implements and troubleshoots Windows Infrastructure systems, specifically Windows Active Directory, Sharepoint 2007/2010, Windows Systems Center System Configuration and Operations Manager, Microsoft Exchange 2010, Microsoft SQL server, Microsoft Forefront, as well as the VMware vSphere 5.0 host systems.

Provides support for ITS Disaster Recovery initiative for windows based systems specifically for Email, Active Directory, Sharepoint using VMware SRM or an alternate solution as decided by the team.

Experience:

·         BS/BA degree or related education, with 8 years' experience administering, supporting, and implementing Microsoft Windows server systems (2000, 2003, 2008).

·         Experience and knowledge of Microsoft server environment implementation and integration at an enterprise level.

·         Expert level experience with Exchange 2010, SQL server, Microsoft Forefront, Powershell scripting, Active Directory, and Microsoft System Center products.

·         Experience should include server design, support and implementation.

·         Microsoft MCSE Certifiication.

·         Experience with desktop technologies and interaction in a Microsoft Enterprise

·         Experience supporting and troubleshooting in a production server, 24/7, change-managed, multi-platform environment and with cross-platform integration.
