Job Title: SQL 2008 SSRS Reports Developer with Dashboards Specialist
Location: Houston, TX
Duration : 4 month
Responsibilities Include:
Development of report documentation and consistent practices across reporting
Development of data monitoring and KPI trend reporting reports for the Quality department records and activities.
Qualifications
2-5 years' of experience with software database development with substantial SQL 2008 content
Candidates MUST know the full extent of SSRS reporting capabilities
Candidates should be able to instantaneously recite add-on tools and the pros/cons of these tool's capabilities,
Candidates should be able to bring examples of their work product with SSRS
Candidates should have experience with hard-to-develop dashboards, charts, etc.
Strong MS SQL Server 2008 TSQL programming knowledge is mandatory
Experience with MS SQL Server 2008 SSRS is mandatory, experience with SSIS is optional
Knowledge of at least 1 major Relational Database Management System (MS SQL is mandatory)
Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Reporting Software Tools (SQL Server)
Experience with technical writing and creating and modifying documentation
Proficiency in report writing tools and business intelligence (BI) platforms
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to handle detail oriented work while meeting schedules and deadlines
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing, to technical and non-technical users
Ability to interface directly with customer for report and dashboard requirements
Ability to work within a team and in a knowledge sharing atmosphere
Prior Oil and Gas Industry Experience in Upstream strongly preferred**
Education:
BS in Computer Science or MIS/CIS or Computer Engineering; Master's Degree preferred
