Role: Transition Manager
Location: Shelton, CT
Duration: Long Term
1. Job Description:
Transition manager will lead global applications transitions in large multi-year program. The transition manager will participate in transitions during pre-transition workshops, due diligence, work-statement preparation, planning, execution and go-lives. (S)he will closely work with customer, partner and delivery teams, to ensure smooth transition to steady state. The transition manager will also be a point transition contact, will be part of transition management office (TMO) and manage, govern transitions. Transition manager should also have experience in managing transitions involving packaged application (must have SAP transition experience). It would be advantageous to have experience in other packages like SFDC, Oracle Leasing, Sterling CPQ, etc.

· Experience
o 8+ years of experience in IT
o Delivery background – especially SLA based managed services delivery
o Hands on experience in transitions
§ Participation in due diligence, planning, KAP, shadow and primary support
§ Participation in global, multi-region transitions
§ Participation in applications transitions
o Transition governance – kickoffs, status reporting, reviews
· Additional/ Good to have transition requirements – Experience in
o Change management
o Communication management
· Technology skills
o SAP
o Other packaged apps
· Key skills
o Customer facing – ability to interact with customer transition manager, directors, CIO
o Program management – issue management, risk management, status reporting
o Understanding of ITIL framework
o Project planning, monitoring and execution
· Soft skills
o Team player
o Ability and willingness to travel globally on short term
o Energetic, take initiatives and remove roadblocks
o Detailed oriented
