Role - QA Test Analyst

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration: 12+ Months

Start: ASAP

Mandatory Technical Skills:

Security Test Analyst skills, Authentication System Testing Experience

Mandatory Functional Skills:

Initially there will be a ramp up period working with project business analyst through the requirements definition to ensure completeness, testability of requirements, etc. This will be followed by test planning to cover:

• Positive testing scenarios for the requirements as defined

• Negative, boundary, and security based scenarios.  

• Planning, authoring, and update of  test cases to assure validation of:  

o User roles

o Application entry points,

o Validation of multiple versions/channels for system entry (web, mobile, web services, etc),

o Configuration validation, user enumeration, authentication bypass, brute force protections,

o Adherence to password quality specifications,

o Credential transportation,

o Password change process,

o Other elements of multi-factor authentication.  

• Execution of testing for authorization validation including:

o Testing for path traversal,

o Privilege escalation,

o Insecure direct object references,

o Missing authorization,

o Data validation,

o Denial of service,

o Error handling,

o Other areas as appropriate.
