Position: Cisco Admin
Location: North Carolina/ San Jose, CA
Duration: 3 - 6 months (extension possible)

Common Responsibilities:
Implementation of the Cisco Solution at Cisco's end customers site by working directly with Cisco end customer and Cisco AS teams
Implementation services will include on-site and remote support, configuration, network connectivity and testing of services, and Customer training and workshops.
Successfully manages customer relationships
Supports delivery of service program to major Cisco customers.
Conforms to service delivery of Advanced Services standards.
Provides remote or onsite deployment support.
Troubleshoots and resolves complex customer network problems
May collaborate proactively with other Engineer's to ensure optimal use of resources to meet customer needs
Required/Mandatory Skills
Hands-on experience on Cisco Nexus switches
Hands-on experience of configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols – OSPF, ISIS mandatory
Hands-on experience on L4-L7 Load balancing
Good knowledge of datacenter implementations
Hands-on experience on the Cisco UCS
Good knowledge of VMware/Hypervisor
Hands-on experience in scripting in Python
Knowledge of network management, network availability plan
Good /Superior Consulting and communication skills
Strong technical presentation skills
Good knowledge on below list of Protocols
Layer 3 routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, ISIS
Layer 2 : STP, vPC, Fabric Path
DCI : OTV
Others: VXLAN, TCP/IP, HTTP
Programming: Python
DC Hardware Platforms
N7K
N9K
ASR9K
NX-OS Features and Functionalities
Server Side Networking
UCS Networking
UCS C-Series Servers
Nexus 1000v Networking
VMware Networking
Solutions Understanding:
VMDC
FlexPod
VBLOCK

Flavors of Firewall Deployment
Flavors of Load balancer deployment
Preferred CCNP, CCIE or any Cisco Datacentre certifications
Experience
Typically requires BS, CS or equivalent plus min 5+ years Cisco Network implementation, Network support, pre-sales support, hands on installation in the LAN /WAN network deployment.
