Summary:
Reporting to the Global Capital Markets FX Senior System analyst, this role is responsible for the production support, development enahancements, bug fixes and implementation of new configurations and software updates/ upgrades of Global Capital Markets FX systems (Opics, Reuters RET, Reuters TREP, Reuters FXALL with Bloomberg connect, 360T as well as .NET, SQLServer internally devloped applicaitons).

Oracle Fusion Middleware and BI products
Work Experience
Typically has 4+ years of programming/systems analysis experience with emphasis in applications and systems architectural design and development, database and middleware technologies. (Opics, Reuters RET, Reuters TREP, Reuters FXALL with Bloomberg connect, 360T as well as .NET, SQLServer internally devloped applicaitons).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Financial industry background
Experience with Opics and .NET a must
Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, data modeling, and ETL a must
Experience in multiple languages and development environments a plus, (J2EE, XML, FPML, FIX, Reuters RET, Reuters TREP,
Reuters FXALL with Bloomberg connect, 360T)
Excellent people skills interacting with users in a production environment and maintaining effective, productive relationships
Demonstrated work experience in MS Office software (Excel, ACCESS, PowerPoint)
Willingness and availability to work in early or late hours
Responsibilities:
Production Support (50%) :
Act as a primary contact for production application.
Respond to critical application outages or issues.
Drive to root cause and resolution.
Provide on-call support for after hours batch processes.
Manage incidents from first client contact through resolution, utilizing best practices methodology and providing corresponding documentation.
Provide phone and in-person support.
Engage other Team Members or manage third-party resources when necessary.
Monitors systems availability, capacity and performance and plans.
Develops methods to efficiently reuse existing components.
Responds to system users, evaluates software and system problems and potential solutions to application systems requirements.
Application Development & Deployment (40%) :
Work with Front, Middle and Back Office personnel to prepare detailed specifications with our BA teams to enhance exiting programs and designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs.
Initiates and develops concepts to solve moderate to complex situations with little or no precedent.
Analyzes business requirements and code to determines how existing applications, legacy systems, databases are impacted and changed /redesigned to meet the new and emerging enterprise requirements.
Performs database analysis, codes and tests routines to ensure successful and seamless communication among the various IT systems and applications components.
Perform system installations. Preparation of system documentation. Deploy release of systems.
Responsible for change management procedures.
Other (10%) :
Responsible working with our QA and Change Management team to help provide unit and integrated testing, documentation, implementation and post implementation support including contingency recovery planning and testing.Thanks with Regards
