Role:                     SQL DBA (healthcare exp.)

Location:             Montgomery, AL

Duration:            12+ Months

Rate: $50/hr Max

Mode Of Interview:  Telephonic followed by Skype

MUST HAVE:

·         7+ years experience as a SQL DBA

·         Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems

·         Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools

·         Experience working in the Health Care industry (anywhere that HIPPA applies)

·         Experience with backups, restores and recovery models

·         Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server

·         Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts

·         Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics

·         Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations

·         Good communication and documentation skills

·         Bachelor's Degree or higher

NICE TO HAVE:

·         Involvement with the MSSQL Server Community

o   Membership in PASS

o   Active in forums or newsgroups

·         Experience working for a state agency- especially DOH or any projects dealing with government assistance enrollment/eligibility

·         MCTS, MCITP, or MVP certifications

·         Previous experience in either a teaching or volunteer/mentoring role.
