Position: Lead Java Developer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 12+ Months
Must Have Skill: • Java/J2EE, Angular JS, Spring 3.1, Spring REST web services, WAS 8, AJax
• Onsite lead along with J2EE development and offshore team coordination
• Lead the development team to meet system development metric goals
• 8+ years of programing experience in a Java/J2EE environment including 4+ years in a senior developer role developing enterprise-level application
• Ability to work with business analyst to collect and understand business requirement and translate that into IT functional requirement and technical solution architecture blueprint.
• Produce preliminary design document and detailed design document.
• Hands on application developer with extensive development experience in building and supporting J2EE based web applications and web services using REST.
• Hands-on experience in development/ deployment/ integration using Spring 3.1 framework.
• Perform code review and identify functional gaps in end-to-end application development.
• Implement best practices/standards on IBM WebSphere based runtime environment.
• Strong working knowledge and prior development experience in the following areas: Java/J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Rational Application Developer 8.x or Eclipse 3.x, OO design, Web Services development and Angular JS.
