| The Project Manager will work with the Application Manager to oversee all project stages of the SDLC for multiple, large-scale, cross-functional projects, including leading project teams (BA, SQA, Engineering), establishing/maintaining project schedules and budgets, overseeing the completion of deliverables/milestones, and prioritizing actions. The Project Manager will be an individual contributor and will report directly to the Application Manager. SPECIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent. MBA or CFA a plus. PMP Certification and/or Lean Six Sigma experience a plus. At least 8+ years of related professional financial services and project management experience. Background in software implementation in the Financial Services industry; Prior experience in one or many of the following disciplines: Global Custody, Asset Management, Securities Lending, Capital Markets, Credit and Risk Management. Proven experience implementing financial systems using formal project management methodologies and tools. Experience working in an environment managing multiple, concurrent projects with shifting priorities, demands, and timelines. Prior experience as a Business/Systems analyst is a plus. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Very strong management, project management and leadership skills. High Level of proficiency in MS Office including Project, EXCEL, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio. |
Manager needs a Project Manager with Financial Services Experience. Anyone without financial services experience will not be considered. Manager will review and interview the week of January 4th. This is a backfill so they want someone that can interview and start ASAP. This is supporting a cash management project. Primary Responsibilities Include •Responsible for monitoring resource allocations and the project budget. •Responsible for coordinating project initiation, including working with team leads to derive estimates for project sizing, time, and resources across all project teams (including BA, SQA, and Engineering). •Responsible for maintaining project plans and issue and risk logs and for managing the change control process. Ensure escalation and change control protocols are implemented and followed. •Responsible for tracking the overall project rating and % complete; communicating progress, changes and issues with the project team and management on a regular basis. •Responsible for monitoring project progress and for taking appropriate actions to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. •Responsible for producing timely reports (e.g. project status reports, budget reports, Tollgate) and for maintaining project documentation (e.g. Audit & Control). Ability to produce "executive level" PowerPoint Presentations, as needed, on all aspects of the project. •Manage project resource allocations and billing using RPS and ATRACK. •Responsible for project evaluations/monitors and assessment of results with stakeholders. •Provide project leadership, direction and support to team members. •Responsible for preparing project execution documentation adhering to SSUP/DPF/Agile methodologies.
