Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator with SQL and Sybase
Location: Irvine, CA
Duration: 12+ Months
Job Description:
• Maintain Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Sybase database knowledge to cover the spread of application technologies
• Perform release related backups, refreshes and other database support tasks
• Deploy schema (DDL) changes, packages, stored procedures, functions and other DML changes to QA, UAT and production environments
• Perform post-release verification and validation
• Participate in post-release issue identification, resolution/rollback and root cause analysis
• Backup and refresh development as well as controlled database environments
• Join with the Release Management and Application Development teams in planning and scheduling release activities
• Handle releases from all organizations supported by the Release Management team
• Manage passwords for multiple application service accounts
• Maintain knowledgebase
• The Release DBA service catalog will not include access management and provisioning
