Role: Business Analyst
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Duration: Above 9 months

 

Only Local Candidates with GC/USC

 

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

·                     Analysis and assessment of technical solutions for public safety,

·                     Identify and define technical and functional/ non- functional requirements and use cases. 

·                     Translation of requirements / use cases into test procedures for SIT, SAT, and UAT. Specific projects/ work stream activities listed below.

·                     Write use cases and uploaded them to Contour.

·                     Create requirements traceability in Contour.

·                     Set numerous filters in Contour to be able to pull periodic metrics.

·                     Report metrics on a monthly basis.

·                     Tag requirements for specific testing purposes.

·                     Attend the workshops to gather the requirements, and created use cases and process flow diagrams based on that information.

·                     Review and comment on deliverables from vendors.

·                     Write test cases for FDCAD.

·                     Complete console inspections at PSAC2 and assist with the call taker position mock-ups

 

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

·                     At least 2 years of experience in a business analyst or business process consulting role in the public safety vertical/ industry role.

·                     Familiarity with business process design concepts and principles and proven track record of driving business processes within a complex matrix management structure.

·                     Ability to create process use case models at all levels.

·                     Strong understanding and experience of solutions use an Architectural tool.

·                     Knowledge of public safety (environment), knowledge of product services, applications.

·                     Detail knowledge of workings of Police, fire, EMS, health and human services organizations influencers and approval processes or workings in a similar capacity or industry, such as enterprise, transportation and logistics, supply chain, utilities, and energy.

·                     Understanding of the implementation and process of large solutions systems or large, long cycle complex deals.

·                     Knowledge if MS Office including Access and Visio.\Strong collaboration skills.

 

DESIREABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

·                     Knowledge of SPARKs, EA, JAMA Contour

·                     Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification

·                     Financial Background for measuring ROI and providing total cost of project input for Executive decision making.
