Job Description :

·         The Sr. Systems Engineer designs and implements the technical infrastructure for our Microsoft Azure based marketing platform.

·         An expert in Azure's IaaS and PaaS services, the Sr. Systems Engineer works with our Solution Architects to implement client solutions that are highly available, scalable and secure leveraging their deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud solutions.

Job Responsibilities

·         Implementation of sophisticated Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions for clients.

·         Collaboration with product engineering from partners to develop cutting-edge solutions.

·         Researches and recommends new Azure services for inclusion in the marketing platform.

·         Actively mentors junior staff on Azure technologies and product roadmaps.

Job Requirement

·         Windows Azure architecture and its components (Fabric,Compute, Storage)

·         Deep knowledge of Windows Azure Platform services

·         Azure Platform development and deployment concepts

·         Familiarity with development: tools, language, process, methods, troubleshooting

·         Familiarity with Active Directory, Security, OS Internals concepts

·         Understanding of Virtualization concepts and virtual system administration

·         Familiarity with system management tools such as SCOM

·         Experience with Hyper-V configuration and administration

·         Familiarity with networking concepts including VIPs, NAT, DNS

·         Familiarity with networking tools (ping, tracert, tracemon, NetMon, wire shark, etc.)

·         Understanding of load balancing, geo-redundancy, CDN and VPN technologies preferred

·         Understanding of the OSI model and related concepts KNOWLEDGE & ABILITY

·         Deep technical familiarity with Azure and its components, virtualization and networking

·         Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications, analytical and presentation skills.

·         Ability to deliver presentations, discuss and array of Cloud technologies

·         Ability to manage customer escalations and work under pressure

·         Capabilities to operate in a flexible team environment with minimal supervision

·         Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed environment
