Job Description

·         Our client is in the need for a resource who has Agile Business Analysis (BA) experience and knowledge.

·         The resource must have true Agile experience (ability to run grooming sessions, write user stories, elicit details needed from the business, write and execute acceptance test criteria, and so forth).

·         In addition the resource must have eCommerce experience (experience working on user stories and testing associated with eCommerce web sites).

Job Responsibilities :

·         Critically evaluates the information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.

·         Decomposes high-level business and user requirements into user stories.

·         Acts as the liaison between the business customer & project team.

·         Leads Agile grooming sessions for the user stories and participates in the planning sessions.

·         Creates and executes acceptance test criteria for the user stories.

·         Participates in peer reviews and inspections of the user stories and acceptance test criteria.

·         Tracks defects and failures in Quality Center, reviews the defects and assigns to the appropriate developer for resolution.

·         Retests defects that have failed after they have been resolved by the developer to ensure no other issues exist.

·         Obtains business and/or management approval after the testing is completed and defects have been resolved.

·   Ability to effectively manage and facilitate meetings

·   Ability to identify and resolve barriers to delivery

·   Ability to manage and mitigate issues and risks

Job Requirement

·   Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position with experience in business analysis and quality assurance.

·   Agile experience (ability to run grooming sessions, write user stories, elicit details needed from the business, write and execute acceptance test criteria, and so forth).

·   Several years of eCommerce experience (experience working on user stories and testing associated with eCommerce web sites).

·   Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving abilities.

·   Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/projects.

·   Excellent communication (written, verbal and listening) skills, presentation and documentation skills.
