I am technical recruiter and I am looking for Relevant consultant for below job description.

Job Title:  CLOUD PLATFORM ADMINISTRATOR (HEROKU/AWS)

Location: San Jose, CA

Position: 6-12+ months

Requirement:             

·         3+ years of hands-on experience operating Heroku/AWS-based infrastructure/applications

·         Ability to define Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible (preferred), CFN (preferred), StackMaster, Terraform, boto for AWS/Heroku infrastructure/access management automation

·         Experience with Heroku CLI, building/managing Heroku add-ons, Heroku Private Space, Heroku SSL, SSO for Heroku.

·         Field experience with the most of AWS Services: VPC, IAM, Route53, CloudFront, RDS, S3, SWF, SQS, AWS CLI etc

·         Deep knowledge of network topology and associated technologies

·         Experience with information security practices and procedures

·         Deep understanding of network protocols/services: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, routers, firewalls and others

·         Experience with monitoring and log management systems: Nagios, Splunk, Airbrake, ELK, Logentries, LogicMonitor.

·         Previous experience administering production cloud environments

·         Troubleshooting/Support experience; strong analytical and problem solving skills

Duties & Responsibilities      

·         Support/maintain/manage all aspects of Align's cloud platforms (AWS/Heroku-based): networking, storage, servers, etc.

·         Design and develop infrastructure blueprints for the implementation of new solutions that bring infrastructure/application from on-prem environments to Cloud

·         Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS/Heroku

·         Troubleshoot and fix network/system/application issues

·         Automate AWS/Heroku infrastructure using Infrastructure As Code tools (CFN, Ansible)

·         Identify appropriate use of AWS/Heroku operational best practices

·         Select appropriate AWS/Heroku services based on compute, data, or security requirements

·         Document technical procedures and user guides

Desirable Functional Skills    

·         Expertise in multi-regional infrastructure setup in AWS

·         Experience with application/data migration to AWS/Heroku

·         Understanding of and experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubenetes, Docker Swarm, Rancher, Marathon etc.

·         AWS Cloud Solution Architect
