Job Title: Oracle Warehouse Builder

Job Description:

The Sr. OWB developer will be responsible for the support and maintenance of ETL code used within our client's data warehouse/data mart environments.  The person may also be required to make enhancements to the ETL processes occasionally.   The job will consist of both reactively responding to issues that arise, as well as proactively identifying things that can be done to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the environment.  The candidate will need strong experience and skills with ETL tools, relational databases, SQL and views.   He or she may also be required to perform data analysis and specification development.   
 
Required Skills
Expertise with ETL tools in general, and Oracle Warehouse Builder in particular
Strong SQL skills
Data analysis
Basic Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle DBA skills
Familiarity with both Microsoft Windows and UNIX platforms, including scripting skills
 
Desired Skills
Knowledge of BI platforms such as Business Objects
 
Other
The candidate must be willing to be on call at nights and on weekends
