Need SQL DBA
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
$45/hr c2c max
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be working as production / application support SQL Server DBA and will provide SQL server production database support for a very critical application to the bank. This person will mainly be tasked with providing expert performance tuning support. This person must provide transactional replication support.
To be qualified for this role, this person must have high availability experience with SQL 2008, 2012, and AlwaysOn experience with SQL 2012. This person must exhibit very in-depth expertise in solving database contention problems (dead locks, blocking etc). This person must have experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
Candidates should be available to interview with 48 hours notice and start with 2 Weeks notice.
Required Skills:
- PRODUCTION SUPPORT EXPERIENCE(EXPERT)
- EXPERIENCE WIHT HIGH AVAILABILITY (MS CLUSTER SERVICE)- 2008
- SQL 2012 AND ALWAYSON EXPERIENCE WITH SQL 2012
