Job Description

·      Apply hands-on technical and functional skills in software technology

·      Be capable of performing as a Lead Developer for the sub team implementing those offerings

·      Guide the larger team in the technical development and implementation of current system enhancements and bug fixes

·      Lead team members in carrying out development, configuration, unit testing and deployment of application releases, as part of the larger Design/Build effort

·      Coordinate work activities with other sub teams across the program as necessary

·      Be responsible for performance, availability, and scalability of the relevant system architecture and design and recommend changes to improve established JAVA application processes

·      When necessary, support the Maintenance and Operation effort's work to preserve the production environment's operational status to design specifications

Required Skills

·      5+ years of experience developing Java / J2EE / Batch / Web Applications

·      Subject Matter Expert on BEA Web logic and Java Struts

·      Functional Knowledge of Java Frameworks (Struts. Spring, JSP)

·      Experience with XML, UML, JavaScript, HTML

·      Ability to work independently

·      Good problem solving and communication skills.

·      Development Team Leadership Experience

Preferred Skills

·      Act as Subject Matter Expert for Java Struts and BEA Web logic

·      Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes.

·      Recommend changes to improve established java application processes.

·      Develop technical designs for application development.

·      Develop application code for java programs.

·      Develop and execute unit test plans.
